Linda Castañeda has released new singles recorded at Third Eye Studios i Tijeras Canyon, NM by David McCrae including the powerful acoustic single Days Gone Bye about the struggle of caring for someone with dementia.
Other singles include the fun and sexy Handyman, the introspective tune Love’s Fire featuring bagpiper Ron Fernandez, the pensive songs Don’t Wanna Do This, Paper Planes, There Is a Door, You Don’t Even Know and an alternate version of her song Little Baby Boy written for her new grandson.

Linda Castañeda releases her latest single, “Poison”.
Linda Castañeda has released her 2025 New Mexico Music Award nominated song Poison. Recorded at Third Eye Studios in Tijeras, NM under the direction of producer and engineer Dave McCrae, Linda has high hopes for the single. Linda’s story is one of persistence. A writer since her teens, she traveled the works, raised a family and finally decided to copyright and produce her music. After attending a copyright and publishing workshop from JMP, she began to record and publish her music. To date, she has released more than a dozen singles and continues to produce more at this writing. Linda Castañeda performs Christopher’s Song at New Mexico Veteran’s Memorial Ceremony.
Jason’s Music Publishing songwriter and recording artist Linda Castañeda was asked to be part of this year’s Veteran’s Memorial Ceremony in Albuquerque where she performed her song “Some Boys”, also known as Christopher’s Song. Written for veteran Christopher Adlesperger, the song helps to explain the valor and dedication that many veterans have with regard to their service. Christopher was killed in action in Afghanistan.
Linda has been writing music for decades and only recently began recording her music. Some Boys has now made its way to Washington, DC, finding its way to the National Director of Veterans Caregiver Program from Washington DC, who is going to broadcast Christopher’s song to all of the veterans on his feed. The song has also found its way to veteran’s communications Director in Kansas City who will add it to the podcast for the veterans. Thank you Linda for letting us be a part o your story.
